We have volunteered for Caudwell Children for many years and have raised money by taking part in various events, climbed mountains, raced dragon boats, walked on fire, run three legged up a ridiculously steep hill, held curry nights, a darts marathon and band nights to name a few but this is the most challenging yet. For one who hates rollercoasters and the other who can’t look down on an escalator this is definitely a challenge.
On Thursday April 11th we will be Wing Walking at RFC Rendcomb Airfield, Gloucestershire,
Wing walking involves being securely strapped on the wings of a bi-plane as it takes to the skies for a 10 minute flight at speeds of up to 130mph!
Once strapped into the five-point safety harness, on the top wing of a biplane, we will take to the skies, making zooms, climbs and passes over watching friends and family.
Please support our crazy fundraising venture.
