I'm supporting CEO SleepoutUK, a new charity working with local business people helping to fight the causes of homelessness and poverty across the Cardiff City region where they live, work and do business.


I'll be spending one night sleeping outdoors in all weather conditions to raise much-needed sponsored funds, with the proceeds being distributed among local charities involved in supporting the homeless and families faced with severe hardship.


The idea is to make a real difference to individuals faced with homelessness across the Cardiff City Region by raising awareness of their circumstances and providing financial support to organisations that:

- Address the hidden causes of homelessness by supporting those most at risk


- Help individuals progress from homelessness to a more secure and positive future


- Support people who are homeless and those faced with severe hardship
