We support world class neonatal care to give babies the best futures

Story

I am fundraising for the Winnicott Foundation to transform two rooms at St Mary’s and Queen Charlotte’s neonatal units into bereavement rooms.

Working with staff I want to create rooms where parents and families can spend precious moments with their babies in a comfortable and home-like environment without feeling rushed or disturbed.

Currently there are no areas designed for parents and families as they say goodbye to their babies - the environment they are in during this time makes a significant difference to the memories they are left with.

I think we can do more to help.

Memories created during this brief time have to last a lifetime before parents say goodbye to their baby forever

We need to raise £20,000 to achieve this to help scores of parents through the most difficult time they will ever face.
