Education is one of the key areas where your support can make a real difference. You can help the Foundation to provide practical help for young people. It has proved over the past 8 years that determination and belief can make a big difference, working with vulnerable people and helping them to improve their lives and look toward to a better future.

Story

Many of you will remember the IRA bombs which devastated the centre of Warrington in 1993 and which resulted in the deaths of two local children, Tim Parry and Jonathan Ball, as well as serious injuries to many other individuals. Barry Taylor is one of the General Surgeons in North Cheshire, who was on duty at the time of those tragic events. In the 16 years since the bombings, Tim Parry's parents, Colin and Wendy, have been responsible for setting up the Tim Parry Jonathan Ball Foundation for Peace in Warrington, which now has a well-established role in the development of understanding and cooperation between young people, both nationally and internationally.

Barry and one of his daughters, Sarah, are running in the New Balance English Half Marathon, which is taking place in and around Warrington on the morning of Sunday, October 4th, to raise money for the Tim Parry Jonathan Ball Foundation for Peace. Please donate generously to support a cause which is enormously worthwhile and which will continue to make a difference for years to come.
