I will be cycling from Washington DC in the east to Seattle in the west.  Last year I cycled from Inverness to Italy (over the Alps), I cycled during all my holidays, plus on my days off, notching up over 3,700 miles. My cycle across the USA is, however, over 4,000 miles, in under 3 months, and by myself. It is not going to be easy, so please support me.

 Thank you to everybody who has made a donation. I arrived home on Thursday. I cycled nearly 4,500 miles from Washington D.C., down through Virginia, over the Appalachian mountains, and then through Kentucky, Illinois, Missourie,Kanzas, Colorado (crossed the great divide 8 times!), Wyoming,Montana, Oregon and Washington state. Then Seattle. Two ferry crossings, but cycled or pushed bike every inch of the way on land.
