Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Last year it was Kilimanjaro, this year it's London to Paris on my bike and I've just completed my challenge.

It took three days and we cycled 229 miles through heavy wind, rain, glorious sunshine and overcast skies.  But I made it to Paris!!! I've never been so glad to see a city landmark.

There were 36 of us on the trip all raising money for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.  Some of us had a connection to the charity as we have a child/husband/wife with diabetes, but many didn't.  It's amazing to think that I arrived at Twickenham knowing no-one and I've come home with 35 friends, some of them very special indeed having cycled alongside them for three days.

We spent three tough days on our bikes and we have the bruises, grazes, oil stains, knocks and sore bits to prove it.

If you would like to help me help the charity reach their goal of £100K for this event, please donate now and make a difference to children with type 1 diabetes.  A cure is not far away and the more funding we get, the better.

Thanks for your support.
