I'm doing a SKYDIVE in aid of Urban Scholars for Brunel University. Urban scholars are kids who are identified in school as being gifted and talented but who would otherwise not be able to afford to go to university - and that's before the tuition fees go up! A university education is something that most of you reading this will want for you kids and you won't think twice about whether you can afford it or not.
A gifted and talented child can quickly turn to a life of crime, drugs and more if they are not channeled in the right way. With Brunel's and your help these bright kids are assured of a bright future.
My aim is to fly to 13,000ft where I will jump out of an aircraft (with a strapping chap on my back) and freefall at 120mph for about a minute. The strapping chap will then deploy the parachute and I'll float down the remaining 5,000ft.
