Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Many of you will know that my sister in law, Georgina Pottinger lost her lovely mum, Karen August, on May 15th last year as a result of MS.  She was diagnosed when she was only 29, and at the time her 3 children were 14, 8 and 5. Karen deteriatied in front of her family's eyes, eventually losing her ability to walk, write, feed herself, swallow, go to the toilet and see clearly.  After trialling various drugs, undergoing 2 brain operations, losing her bladder and having to be eventually fed via a tube she became bedridden for the last 12 years of her life.

On May 12th 95 of us ( including the Willard ladies - Gary will be driving alongside with water and plasters!) will be walking from Brighton to Worthing to raise vital funds for a well deserving charity that sometimes slips under the radar.

Any donation, no matter how small, will be gratefully received. If everyone only gave £1 each then the pot would fill up quite nicely!!

Thank you all for your support and please wish us a sunny, dry day!! X
