12 years ago I was seriously ill with Meningitis and was rushed to Birmingham Children's Hospital. I slipped into a coma and on paper the chances of surviving did not look good, but thanks to some truly incredible doctors and nurses I pulled through. It left me deaf and with mobility problems but the staff at BCH did everything in their power to help me adjust, not only saving my life but also making it worth living. To say thank you and to make sure they can keep helping ill children I am now going to throw myself out a plane from 10,000 feet, hoping very much that the parachute will open. Sponsor me!
