Hello and welcome to my fundraising page! You are reading this because at the end of February 2007 I am aiming to complete the Kinabalu Challenge in Borneo to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The Challenge is a team event, and the races include a 4km river run including crossing, 6km bike/run, white water rafting, 9km bike/run, kayak relay and climbing Mount Kinabalu , the highest mountain in south-east Asia at 4,101m. Our 5 day challenge is based in the Borneo jungle which will be our home for the duration of the challenge. The challenge takes our team of four over land, through and over water, and up a mountain. We will be exposed to jungle temperatures of 35 degrees and 90% humidity, culminating in mountain summit temperatures of approaching freezing.
The money raised will help those lives affected by cancer, providing practical, medical, emotional and financial support and push for better cancer care, so please dig deep and sponsor me. If you are a taxpayer, your donation will be increased by almost a third at no cost to you.
