Yes, it's true, against our better judgement we are running a half marathon and we have the blisters to prove it!
Our lives have been temporarily taken over by mapping routes, timing miles and carbo loading, but it's all for a good cause. The Laura Centre is a Leicester based charity offering support to anyone who is affected by the death of a child and for any child who is affected by the death of a parent or carer, and it's Probation's Charity of the year.
Please give as little or as much as you can afford. It's a really worthy cause and every penny counts. Don't forget to tick Gift Aid if you're a UK tax payer.
And if you're around in Leicester on Sunday 11th October and are in need of a good laugh, hang around the finish line at Victoria Park around 11.30am - we'll be the ones at the back!
