Springboard for Children works in socially and economically disadvantaged areas with school children who are facing failure and frustration simply because they can't read and write. Our dedicated school-based centres provide 1:1 literacy tuition and mentoring to help them unlock their true potential

It all began in 1985.

We loved running then - but couldn't do it, because we couldn't walk.

But it's now 2009.

We still love running... but up until recently, couldn't do it.
Or more aptly, refused to try!

So here we go... after some gruelling training, we are now professionals, rivalling radcliffe and co. A vast distance is to be covered in a short space of time: 10 million units of measurement*

Our promise is that we will love you MORE than we love running if you pot a penny or two in the pot.
