On Sunday 20th September 2009 I am taking part in the BUPA Great North Run.

 

Hello. My name is Sarah and im running this year on behalf of Greyhound Gap http://www/greyhoundgap.com to help raise funds towards their ongoing work to raise £100,000 as a deposit on a commercial mortgage.

Greyhound Gap are a death row facility taking in dogs due to be euthanised after serving their time in council pounds. They also specialise in the rehabilitation of greyhounds and lurchers who need much more than just a new home due to past trauma.

 

You can see me pictured with my own lurcher Ted who was rescued by Greyhound Gap from a stray pound environment as his time was up. He is a lovely dog and deserved the life he now has and you can help me to make this a reality for other hounds thanks to supporting myself and the continued work Greyhound Gap do.
