Dear family and friends,
I successfully completed the Super Sprint Triathlon at Blenheim on Saturday ……and enjoyed it ! Great atmosphere in spite of the constant rain, very well organised and the setting was truly spectacular.
I completed in 1hour 14mins and 22secs and came 2nd in my age group (7 in total) ;the winner of my age group took 1 hour 7 mins and 4 secs. The female overall winner took 58mins 20secs . I was 63rd out of 164 females and 196th of 330 men and women competing in the Super Sprint.

I did this triathlon to raise funds for BYHP which is a Banbury based charity ( a town just 10 miles from where I live and where Hannah and Lucy went to school) working with young homeless people aged between 13 and 25. BYHP provides a holistic approach towards homelessness, providing vulnerable young people with advice, support and family mediation, aiming to resolve the conflict and relationship breakdown that puts them at risk of homelessness. The focus of BYHP's work is the prevention of homelessness. There is a daily Drop In, where young people can access help with literacy, job seeking and life skills, so that they can begin to fulfil their potential.
I have several friends who work for this charity with the young people and through fundraising, and I know how invaluable their work is. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure.
