About our charity : Friends Of Michael Sobell House Friends Of Michael Sobell House
Michael Sobell House, situated in Northwood, Middlesex, provides specialist palliative care to patients who have cancer and other life threatening diseases, and gives support to their families. 'The Friends' support the 16 bed NHS funded Hospice, by making an annual contribution of £850,000 through various voluntary fundraising activities.

Our personal message:

Hello Everyone! As many of you know, my lovely stepfather George died of cancer in November 2007. For some time he was cared for by Michael Sobell House, the hospice in Northwood. George's room was bright and airy and overlooked an aviary and wildlife gardens which provided him with some much needed comfort and tranquillity. I want other people to benefit from the care this hospice provides so, on Sunday 18th May 2008, Darren and I are doing the Michael Sobell 23 mile cycle ride to raise money for this charity. PLEASE SPONSOR US! - your support will encourage my ample derrière over the finish line so Darren doesn't have to carry me! Lots of love, Sarah & Darren xx
