Story

It's not too late to donate!! Every single pound will help. I think £2 is the minimum donation accepted on here, so if you've got this far please just bang the button and give a little.

On Sunday July 12th, I did the British 10K in memory of Rosie Dwyer, a fit and healthy 19 year old who we loved and who died suddenly from septicemia. We had watched her grow up in to a wonderful, fun loving, incredibly messy young woman as she was the daughter of our best friends and our own daughter's very first best friend. In an effort to get some kind of silver lining out of this very dark cloud, we are raising money for teachers in Africa as Rosie went on a fabulous holiday there and was very moved by the poverty.

I took this up as a challenge (along with about 80 others including our whole family) and managed to complete the 10K without walking or stopping - I tracked my painful training on Rosie's website; www.rosiedwyer.co.uk

love and thanks
