I am a member of the HMS Heron Volunteer Band , and we are putting on a Charity Concerty in aid of the SSAFA forces Home from Home Appeal.  The concert is on the 7th November 2008 at HMS Heron, Yeovilton.

The Home from Home appeal has been launched to raise money to purchase, refurbish and run two Families "homes" near the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine at Selly Oak and the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre at Headley Court, to enable injured service personnel's families and loved ones to be near them during their period of rehabilition, whether being injured in the UK or in conflicts abroad.

In an effort to raise as much money as possible for this worthwhile cause, I have been sponsored by the firm I work for to perform a solo on the Clarinet!!  and I am looking for further sponsorship from colleagues, friends and family to encourage me to practice and play my solo performance to the very best of my ability!!  Thankfully, the band will be supporting my solo performance!
