27th April
Well its all over, I did it in 6 hours and 57 mins beating 7 hours, so I am really pleased, I am sore but its worth every blister. thank you for all your donations I am very grateful.
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
I am running for my dad again this year, He was diagnosed with prostate cancer in March 2007, he is doing great. It rocked our world, but he is so strong and his attitude is amazing, he has made us realise that we can be strong too, thats why I am here doing this marathon. I am no Paula Radcliffe but my passion for this worthwhile cause has inspired me to do something I never thought I would do. I did it last year and although it took me 7 hours i am determined to do it quicker this year. I am so humbled to have the opportunity to run in my 2nd London marathon. I am a nursing assistant and see lots of illiness and diseases everyday, the people that I look after never complain about anything and just accept the way they are. I am not sitting back accepting it things need to be done to give our men a better chance.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Prostate Cancer Charity will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
