Thanks for visiting my Asics 10k London Run fundraising page for the worthwhile charity of The Brigitte Trust.

I belong to a small group of female runners who get together every Saturday for a training session.  We have called ourselves Sam's Angels in honour of Sam who puts us through our paces and provides us with an hour of training hell every weekend.  Sam is actually enormously encouraging and it was his support that led me to start running 2 years ago and enter my first Watford 10k.  I found this first race very hard and was utterly exhausted going through the finish line but had a great feeling of achievement.  I then entered my second 10k the following year (it took me a while to get over the first one!) and I have now entered three this year with a 5k inbetween.  I have not had the courage to extend my distance yet but maybe this will come.  I am hoping to knock a few minutes off my time this year which is normally 1 hr 4 mins and praying that the day won't be too hot.  I am really looking forward to the London 10k it will be a really fun event.
