The brain is the most complex organ in our body. It controls our emotions, senses and actions. So when it breaks down, we break down. We fund the best research to discover the causes, develop new treatments and improve the lives of those affected. Let’s unite to accelerate progress. Today.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have decided to support this charity because my Grandad suffers from Alzheimer's disease. I know and understand how heartbreaking it is to watch a loved one slowly slipping away and I want to support a charity that I know could help families like my own. Not only that, I have friends who have lost loved ones to the types of illnesses that this charity researches.

I am running the Swansea Bay 10k in September and I want to help to raise as much money as possible before and afterwards. Please take time to visit brt.org.uk to look at some of the work Brain Research Trust do. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
