See the gorgeous blonde on the left of your screen? Her name is Katie and she will be 4 just before I do my 2nd London Marathon. She was born with Multicystic Displastic Kidney and has only 1 functioning kidney. I want to raise money for Kideny Research UK so they can use it towards research into treatments for and the causes of kidney disease.

I ran the 2006 London Marathon in just under 6 and a half hours. I aim to do 2009 quicker.

For an added giggle, Katie wants me to run the 2009 marathon dressed like either a Disney Princess or a butterfly! Apparently I could find either outfit in my size on ebay so there is no escape! I have lowered my target to £1,400 as this is what I MUST raise for Kidney Research UK and is not quite as daunting at £2,000 but I would still like to reach the higher of the two!
