Yeah I've done it!!!

I'm really chuffed with my time as well: 42 mins 16 secs - not bad for an unfit old bird who hates the cold!!!!

I enjoyed it so much that I am going to be doing the Great Manchester Swim on Sunday - 1 mile in Salford Quays - keep your fingers crossed for good weather!

JUst to keep you updated Salford Quays went well - managed to take nearly 3 1/2 mins off my time, finishing in 38mins 53 secs - so very happy bunny!

Have been looking for another race for 2012 but maybe will start training for 2 miles or 5K swim for 2013 instead! Watch this space!
