Story
This is my fundraising page to support the crucial work of Cancer Research UK.
This is a cause close to my heart. Until a few weeks ago, it was also about 7cm to the left of it. But thanks to the amazing work of Cancer Research, the fantastic skills of every NHS doctor and nurse I've come across, and the wonderful support of Macmillan, I'm hopeful that cancer isn't currently hanging about anywhere quite so close. I'd really like to keep it that way. For me, and for everyone else.
Rather than seek sponsorship for each individual run I sign up for, I'm just pledging to run as much as I can - registering for official 5 and 10K runs, and doing as many unofficial ones as I can (which I'm saving on map my run as evidence!)
So if I've just sent you a begging email, I've probably got an official run coming up, and if not I'm quite possibly out pottering round a park somewhere right now. Either way, please do take the time to donate a few pounds. Every bit adds up and moves us closer to a place where we will no longer be able to say that everyone's life will be affected by cancer. And from personal experience, that would be a really great place to be.
Oh, and I promise to do it in the brightest colours humanly possible.
Thank you.
