Well, I did it!  And, I never thought I would hear myself say this, but...  I loved it!! 

It was a great day, brilliant atmosphere and the aches and pains stayed away for most of the race... my time was 2hrs 14 mins - must do better next year!

You will see that my grand total raised for Quarriers is now over £1000 which is just an incredible amount in such a short space of time, so my sincere thanks to everyone who sponsored me!  Amazingly, my two sponsor forms on Arran generated £400 of that!  Huge thanks to friends and family there for their kind donations and thanks to Mum for collecting the sponsorships and money!

I said this would be my first and last...now I'm not so sure - watch this space!!
