Well. its all over, and yes I completed the marathon in 4.00hrs 55sec.  I am absolutely delighted that my first ever marathon went so well.  I set off with a pace plan and although the first 15 miles were very congested I managed to finish at a quicker pace than I started to make up lost time.  The occasion was a massive experience which I will never forget, and yes I may be back to run again another year.
