I am running the Twesbury 1/2 marathon for this charity because a good friend of mine's daughter who is 11 /1/2 yrs old ,who is only a 1yr 1/2 younger than my daughter, was diagnosed with a cancer tumor over a year ago. She has spent the last year in Bristols Children's hospital undergoing extensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment to combat this horrible disease. This is a way of me trying to help and give something towards helping her and other children like her have the best possible care for her and her/there family's while they goe through this terrible time.
