A very big thank you to everyone who visited my fundraising page and so generously donated.

On Wednesday (3rd June) I spent a very messy, rather undignified hour sitting in a bath of 222 cans of cold baked beans right outside our main reception at Bishopton to raise funds for Erskine as part of our fundraising week - Erskine Week. As you can see I was persuaded to dip my head right under - not very pleasant but thankfully I had my son's swimming goggles so it wasn't as bad as it might have bean......!!!

Donations from people like yourself really do play a vital part in helping us provide the very special care that our Scottish veterans need and deserve. Donating just £5 can buy a nameplate for a resident's door, which may in itself sound very simple, but it gives a veteran a new identity and address when they first move into Erskine and may be at their most vulnerable.
