Flora London Marathon 2009 · 26 April 2009 ·

Our vision is that patients with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses in our area can choose how and where they want to be cared for towards the end of life. We provide 24/7 responsive Hospice at Home care and support for all the family during the illness and through bereavement.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.  I've decided to run the London Marathon for the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home charity because of the amazing support they provided to my family when my grandparents became ill with cancer.

With my father also diagnosed and treated successfully for cancer, I wanted to raise funds for this vital service.  The other reason for running is that - following a difficult couple of years - I decided I needed a personal challenge, and (because ignorance is bliss) I decided to start with a marathon!  I wont realise how hard it is until I do it - and by that point it will be too late to change my mind!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Iain Rennie Hospice At Home gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Please support me and Iain Rennie by pledging your sponorship.

Thanks

Sarah
