I DID IT :-)  In 2 hours and 51 minutes - not bad for a first attempt, and considering all those hills!!  It was an amazing atmosphere, the wheather was great - even got a sun tan!!

Couldn't see one other t-shirt with any form of brain cancer support though - very dissapointing, but makes me want to try harder!!

Get me motivated for next time please, and donate some money :-)

Well Hello and Welcome to my page for Astro Fund

Why am I doing this?  Answers welcome at the bottom of this page, along with a donation!!! 

I decided (when sober!) that I should enter the ballot to gain a place for this amazing event - it's something I've always thought about doing, but never too seriously, this year I thought it's so difficult to get a place, I'll enter the ballot, and then at least I can say I've entered .

It seems I have a place.  I don't do excersise as a general rule!! I'm starting to wonder what on earth I've got my self into!!  I blame the brain tumour!!

As you can see - I NEED ENCOURAGEMENT - Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

AGH!!  I need some sponsors - basically I am the only person running in this event for Astro Fund - no pressure then!!  I've bought a Wii fit, fabulous invention!!  I'm great at step and hoola hoop, really should be doing more jogging though I suppose!!!  DIG DEEP - I NEED MONEY  :-)

Reckon I can count today as my first official training day - only 3 months to go! - I managed to get round the London 10k in 1 hour 10 mins. Now all I need to do is continue training!!
