The British Lung Foundation is the only UK charity working for everyone affected by lung disease. The charity focuses its resources on providing support for people affected by lung disease today; and works in a variety of ways (including funding world-class research) to bring about positive change, to improve treatment, care and support for people affected by lung disease in the future.

I've done it! It was good fun. Thank you for all your support - it made the 5k fly by!

I'm running for my Dad - who would probably think I'm mad, seeing as my enthusiasm for joining all musical ensembles at school was a ploy to avoid lunchtime sport clubs... But it's difficult to raise money sitting on the sofa, so here I go to turn the colour of a beetroot in aid of the Clive Leyland Breath of Life Fund at the British Lung Foundation. It's a 5K run in Hyde Park on Sunday 7th September. In memory of the determined and talented man he was, I will give my lungs a workout to help other people with similar conditions.
