My story

 

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

This is an annual 'group sponsored' event in memory of a dear friend and colleague Martin Etherington who sadly passed away July 4th 2002.

He was lovingly cared for at East Lancs Hospice and this is our way of remembering Martin and giving a little back to a support team of people who care so well for those that are terminally ill.

On Saturday 27th June 2009, Martin's Colleagues from Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council along with his friends and family will be rambling through 10 miles of complex terrain, most probably in the rain, and most definitely ending up at a public house of some description !
