Being part of Farm Africa's pom pom waving cheerleading squad last year and watching so many amazing people completing the marathon in order to help those less fortunate than themselves inspired me to sign up for the challenge myself.

Over 80% of people in eastern Africa  live a hand to mouth existance growing what little food they can on the arid land around them.  By sponsoring me you will be helping FARM-Africa work directly with some of the poorest communities, providing these people with the seeds and tools they need to to provide a brighter and more prosperous future, free from a reliance on hand outs and food aid.
