On the 8th June I will be taking part in (or maybe I should say attempting!) the Southend Half Marathon and would love to raise as much as I can for the charity ME Research UK (http://www.meresearch.org.uk/). The charity funds much needed research into the illness M.E; an illness which I am very familiar with as my brother has had it for over 6 yrs. The money raised will contribute to the ongoing investigation into the causes, and treatments of M.E. and the ultimate goal of  finding a cure.
