River Tyne Zip Slide · 4 May 2008 ·

Living with deafblindness can be incredibly lonely, isolating and scary. Our specialist support helps people cope emotionally and practically. We listen, advise, care, support, coach, mentor and connect people. We help people to live better with sight and hearing loss.

Story

Hi there

Well, whenever I visit this site it is always to sponsor other people but now I am asking you to sponsor me!  I'm doing a zip wire slide across the Tyne - well - it looks like fun and I haven't done anything daft for a while!  (And Amanda, who is organising this event did pass me the advert for my new job so I thought I'd better do something in return!!)

Thanks folks - help me make it worthwhile!

Luv n (hopefully) sunshine

Sarah
xx

PS It doesn't need to be just me doing this!  Why don't you come too!  Visit http://www.deafblind.org.uk/fundraising/eventspages/zipslideacrosstherivertyne.htm

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Deafblind UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
