Thank you very much indeed for visiting this page and for helping me celebrate my birthday on 24th March. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute and wish we could do it all over again.
If you would like to help me celebrate some more, I will be very pleased indeed if you would like to give some of your hard-earned cash to the children in Kampong Cham in Cambodia where Vaughan's daughter Hannah has set up an arts project to take them off the streets and get them painting, dancing, learning maths and even finding a way to make a sustainable living in the future. This project in Cambodia is called Kampuchea's Kids, where it is a registered charity. If you would like to read more about it, it's all here:http://www.bsda-cambodia.org/activities.htm
The picture top left is one I took of a little show they put on last year. I have just seen an email from Vandong, the head monk, outlining the budget they need for the next stages of the project: the more they get, the more they can do!
As it is not registered in the UK, I have struck an agreement with this charity - The Cambodian Children's Charity - that any money you give for my birthday will go straight to Kampuchea's Kids. They won't even pass on the banking charges for transferring the money abroad.
much love and thanks again
Sarah
p.s. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: The Cambodian Children's Charity will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
