For most people your teenage years are some of the best years of your life, having fun, making new friends and finding yourself. But some people don't have the same experience. When teenagers have cancer they have to deal with the harsh realities of having a serious life threatening illness at a very young age. Trying to fit cancer treatment in between social activities, school and hormonal mood swings can make teenage cancer an unbearable burden. But it needn't be quite so hard. 

Teenage Cancer Trust provides help and support for teenagers and their families affected by cancer. For many it is a beacon of hope and a vital support network without which, life with cancer would be much harder.

For this reason I have decided to have a new hair cut, to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust and also in memory of anyone who has ever died as a result of cancer.

During Summer 2010 (Date and place to be confirmed) I shall have my head shaved. Hopefully this will raise awareness and valuable money - please support me by sponsoring me through just giving.
