I'm certainly not a runner (yet!) but I'm joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life this year, because it's a cause close to my heart and cancer has affected so many of us, I'm particularly thinking of my Grandad Williams & my school friend Katy Bijak, both of whom sadly lost their fights. I'm also using it as a little target on my way to The Loch Ness 10k, which I'm hoping to run in September with my Dad & my sister in order to raise some funds for much needed research into Alzheimer's disease, another cause very close to our hearts.

Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore. By sponsoring me, we will beat cancer sooner.
