In celebration of Chickenshed Theatre's 35th Anniversary, on 20th September, 2009, 2 women (Myself and friend Manda) and a puppy (Dyson) will be participating in a10k Any Way "walk" to raise funds for Chickenshed Theatre (see http://www.chickenshed.org.uk/) where my daughter, Natalia, is studying.
The walk will start in Wrotham Park, which was the site of the original Chicken Shed all those years ago, and will end at the Chickenshed Theatre in Southgate.
Participants can travel the 10k Any Way, and there will be people running, walking, hopping, skipping, etc - Natalia is doing it handcuffed with a friend!!! We hope to raise much-needed funds for this theatre company that brings so much joy to so many people who would otherwise not be catered for in our society.
For the wonderful work of Chickenshed to continue, we have to constantly strive to raise funds, so any donations will be really gratefully received.
Manda, Dyson and I form the BISON-DYSON team. If you live in the area why not come along and join in, too. If you don't we'll keep you informed of the day's events, and whether Dyson has to be dragged ALL the way, or whether he ends up being carried!!!!
