On the 2nd July 2012 it was announced that RAS Aberdeen are having their budget cut by the government which means they are loosing £50,000 and without this they may have to close their doors by christmas. This will be devasting to the North East as 1 in 4 women will need to use them now and in the future. As the only support centre for rape and abuse we can't let them close, they do fantastic work helping hundreds/thousands of girls. Without them a lot of girls won't get the help and support they need to get through their traumatic ordeal.
