Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. This photo is a strong reminder of how much my life has changed over the past 2 years. It was taken shortly after I'd finished my chemo/radiotherapy in October 2007 following my diagnosis and subsequent mastectomy for breast cancer in February 2007. As you all know, my hair has grown back, I've had reconstructive surgery and on the outside I look the same as I was before my diagnosis but as you can imagine, on the inside I've changed as a person.

I can't believe how far I've come and even though I'm not off the hook yet, I try to remain positive and look forward to a future. I need to be here for Tim, Kim and Reece. Everyone has been so supportive not least my family and friends. As a way of 'giving something back', I want to do something challenging whilst raising money for breast cancer (without the research that goes on, my story could've been so different). So on that note, I madly came up with the idea of doing a tandem skydive - something scary and completely daring because surely nothing can be as scary as cancer treatment!!! The event will take place at Bicester Airfield on 7 June 2009.   My good friend, Sarah Lisi has kindly made a generous donation..... her partner Paul!  He is supporting me by doing the skydive too!
