Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!!!

My nephew Jake had a poorly liver when he was a tiny baby. They tried to keep it working but eventually they had to take it out. It was all green and hard, but, someone amazing had already decided to give him theirs and BCH helped to make this wish come true. Without the expertise of the surgeons, the knowledge of the nurses, the strength of the intensive care team, our baby Jake would have had a different tale to tell entirely.

He celebrated his first birthday last month. Has lots of teeth and loves to eat all sorts of food (which his body can now digest!). He loves Iggle piggle and his Mummy bestest and his smile can melt your heart.

I'm running for Jake. I'm running for his donor, I'm running for the hospital, I'm running for my family and I'm running for all of the poorly babies who haven't got to live their lives yet. The liver unit performs miracles every day and they need support so they can continue to do so, so that those beautiful angels can recover and start enjoying the lives they deserve.

Please spare whatever you can, anyone who knows me knows that I'm not the sporty kind! The training is certainly, erm, interesting, and my muscles are wondering what the hell has happened!
