We did it! We walked 13.1 miles in 4.5 hours through the streets of a cold but beautiful London on Saturday night at the 2009 Playtex Moonwalk. It was a wonderful achievement especially for Sarupa who could not have imagined even taking a step a year ago and for Radhika, a confirmed couch potato, for whom walking a half marathon was a laughing matter!
Wonders never cease - with the support of all our family and friends we have "walked the walk" and raised over £10,000 (including gift aid) for breast cancer charities.
