On May 21st 2016 I will be joining some of my esteemed colleagues attempting to complete the the 3 Peaks Challenge within 24hrs, in order to raise money and awareness for the charity WaterAid
and try and have some fun together. The gruelling event involves climbing the three highest peaks in Scotland (Snowdonia), England (Scarfell Pike) and Wales (Snowdonia) all within 24 hours. The biggest challenge’s for most  of the team will be sleep deprivation, fear of heights, distance covered in the short space of time, terrain, weather conditions etc. but all these things seem so irrelevant when we all have access to a basic amenities such as clean drinking water.
Wateraid have helped make significant difference to over 21 million people in some of the world's poorest communities providing Clean drinking water, proper toilets and good hygiene, basic services we take for granted in the western world! Across the world, women are forced to waste precious time walking long distances to collect dirty water. Girls drop out of school because there are no private toilets, and young children are not surviving to see their fifth birthday because of preventable diseases. Wateraid has hundreds of partners in civil society, government and the private sector, and with your generous donations they can deliver water, sanitation and hygiene to
those most in need and make transformational change’s happen so that
governments across the world provide all of their citizens with affordable,
sustainable services.
Since 2001 Networkers has been supplying recruitment services across the African continent, supplying talent on both a contract and permanent basis from across the globe to support the growth and demand of the Telecommunications industry. Through the combined
success we have shared together with our clients and candidates we felt that
this was a really fitting opportunity to support a charity close to all of our
hearts which is making life changing differences and gives us all a chance to give something back to Africa.

We aim to raise a minimum of £5,000 which is the least we can do to make a small difference to people’s lives.

The money will be used to support 2 rural municipalities of the Tsiroanomandidy district in central Madagascar who have some of the poorest rates of access to water and latrines as well as delivering access to water, sanitation and hygiene.
