Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

As you know, I am taking on this ridiculous challenge in aid of a very good cause.

The simple task of conquering Scafell (7/6) Snowdon (28/6) and Ben Nevis (23/8) is nothing compared to the terrible thing that meningitis is.  I shall be accompanied by my good friend and also soon to be 50 Neil Weaver. It seemed to be a terribly good idea at the time and i thought we might aswell raise a few bob for a most worthy charity. Updates on our progress will be appearing on here if i have the energy or indeed survive.

Right thats it, its done. Ben nevis scaled on 23rd August. the ascent was accomplished in a mere 3 hours and the descent in 2. can i just say never again, i take my hat off to the lads and ladies who do the 3 peaks in 24 hours. Thank you all once again for your very generous contributions to what is a very worthy cause. Those of you who have not yet donated please do not panic as the site remains open until Nov 2009, you know who you are.

I would also like to thank Eggy for setting the page up for me and setting the target, which looks almost as high as any of the peaks to scaled, but i do love a challenge. Also added to the thanks column, my daughter Faye.
