First Touch supports sick and premature babies cared for at St George’s neonatal unit in SW London. We fund state-of-the-art equipment and specialist staff training which are outside of the scope of NHS budgets, as well as a range of initiatives to support families during their stay on the unit.

Story

Thank you for visiting my page here on justgiving:

I created this page to set up a donating system for St Georges Neonatal Unit.

This was the Hospital i was transferred to when i was born 12 weeks premature along side my twin Sister. She however stayed at Aldershot Hospital where we were delivered. My time spent at St Georges was critical, both me and my Sister were very ill and chances of us both surviving with no physical or mental disabilities were slim. Remarkably and thanks to both Hospitals (as i then returned to Aldershot), we survived and have been perfectly healthy. We were in Hospital for just over two months, had blood transfusions, were linked up to various machines and were helped to breathe each day.

I Would love to help St Georges give other premature babies the same chance at life.

So please read about St Georges Neonatal Unit and what our donations can do for them. The Nurses, Doctors and people who donated blood saved our lives, to me they're worth every penny!

Thanks again,

Becky
