Saint Francis Hospice is a leading provider of palliative care for people living in Havering, Brentwood, Redbridge, Barking & Dagenham. We care for people from 18 years of age, of any race or religion, who have a life limiting illness due to cancer, heart disease, motor neurone disease or respiratory disease and we provide physical, spiritual and emotional care and support to patients and their families.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As you may have heard recently in the Romford Recorder, St Francis Hospice is facing closure due to lack of funds to run the hospice.

St Francis Hospice provides care for terminally ill people & their families. They rely mostly on donations to operate & keep the hospice going. For every £1 donated 90p is spent on patient care.

As many of you may know this hospice is very close to our hearts, the care we received for our Dad Graham was second to none. The hospice made his last few days as comfortable as possible for both him and us. So when we heard the news that the hospice may be forced to close we decided we would do whatever we could to help.

Please please please give what you can to help! We understand times are hard for everyone, but just a little bit of your money could help so many families in the future. The target is big, but this will enable them to keep all 22 beds open for 1 day.

Thank you!
