RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

HELP SAVE OUR STAN!

South Wales Police Chief Constable Barbara Wilding has put RNLI mascot 'Stormy Stan' behind bars, and is keeping him locked up until we can raise at least £250 bail for his release.

The Save Our Stan Campaign is all part of the lead up to RNLI SOS Day, which takes place on Friday 25 January.  People from all over the country will be raising money on an SOS theme, and The Chief Constable is encouraging police colleagues and the public to help raise Stormy Stan's 'bail' and free him in time for RNLI SOS Day, Friday 25 January.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also an efficient way to donate: the RNLI will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Any donation, small or large is welcome.

Thank you!
