I decided to make a Just Giving page after only really just finding out about it. This page is for a really important charity called Save the Children. Save the Children works with children in the UK and all across the world. With our help, their vital work saves and improves children's lives in more than 50 countries. However there is only so much a charity can do without our help.
It doesn't matter how small your donation is. £3 is enough to buy a mosquito net or a warm comfy blanket that could save a newborn baby from pneumonia. It can also vaccinate a small child against Malaria. Please don't be selfish and ignore this. We know suffering is out there but sometimes we are just too selfish to care or do anything about it. Even £1 is better than nothing.
I've spoken to the charity myself and even been to their office in London to be able to see more of the work they do. I know there are tons of charity pages out there but there are hardly any for this sort of cause. Children all over the world deserve the chance to be educated, to feel safe and know there is a future out there for them. I've decided to do more volunteering for the charity and hopefully, fingers crossed in 2010 during the summer, I'll be able to visit some of the charities feeding centres in Southern Niger. However, the charity still needs your help so get donating!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you xxx
