Bobby Moore Fund - Jonjo's Walk 2012 - Wembley to West Ham Utd · 23 February 2012 ·

Stephanie Moore MBE set up the Bobby Moore Fund in partnership with Cancer Research UK, following the death of her husband, Bobby Moore, from bowel cancer. The Bobby Moore Fund is now a leader in the fight against bowel cancer, funding research that’s helping more people to survive than ever before.

Story

9 year old Jonjo Heuerman is walking from Wembley to West Ham United over 3 days from 23rd to the 25th February. I will be among those joining him on his walk.

His aim is to raise as much money as possible for the Bobby Moore fund for cancer research after he lost his grandmother Lyn to bowel cancer. So far he has raised over £40 000.

This will be the second year he's walked following the success he had last February. He is encouraging as many people as possible to join in, appealing to fans of all football clubs, for all or part of the way.

I will be joining him on his walk, and those of you who know me well will not be at all surprised that I shall be doing it barefoot.

Please help me support Jonjo in this worthwhile cause by donating as generously as you can afford.
