<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial;">Steve Murley joined Halfords in 1996 and it was only a couple years after this that he was first diagnosed with cancer. This did not stop him progressing his career to Store Manager; it simply slowed it down a little. It was a battle which Steve fought bravely and with great</span><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB"> humour</span><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial;">, but which tragically ended in March of this year.</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: small;">The gentle giant with the gruff exterior hid a man with a heart of gold. Someone who remains an inspiration to us all for the way he tackled the challenges he faced over the last 13 years.</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: small;">Steve and Teresa were truly grateful to the Rosemary Foundation for the emotional and practical support they received during the last few weeks of his life. That support enabled Steve to spend his final days at home surrounded by friends and family, just the way he wanted.</span></span></p>
